The idea of festival
is unification and companionship to overcome the
crisis of spiritual culture and to re-illuminate
historical and cultural
values of Tripiraka Koreana which came from the
idea of defending
the nation. |

This parade starting
from Seonwonsa Temple at the Ganghwa Island
passes Jicheonsa Temple at Seoul, and Tripitaka
Koreana is enshrined
at Haeinsa Temple. Korean traditional band and security
guard are in
front of the parade, and civil and military officials
of Joseon follow them.
Then, monks and Buddhists carries blocks of Tripitaka. |
